POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Business Operations Manager is accountable for assisting the Ambulatory SVP of Clinical Operations with performance monitoring and improvement across multiple departments and services.

• Ensure effective logistics to support clinical activities and adherence to standards of care.
• Partners with Senior Vice-Presidents and internal stakeholders to implement cross-functional projects, facilitates and defines the scope of projects, manages implementation and communicates progress of projects to ensure timely execution within established deadlines and within budget.
• Deploys project management skills to plan, execute, and finalize projects within established deadlines and within budget.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • Baccalaureate degree in business, healthcare management, IT or related field, MS preferred
    • Five (5) years’ experience in healthcare decision support, healthcare administration, or information systems administration.
    • Three (3) to five (5) years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution, preferably in a healthcare setting.
    • Certified Project Management (PMP) credentials required
    • Sound knowledge of EPIC with Epic and Lean/Six Sigma Certification preferred
    • Technically competent with various software packages/programs, such as SQL, Access, Crystal or similar relational databases, PeopleSoft, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office and Outlook.
    • Demonstrated evidence of being detail-oriented with excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills, strong analytical skills ability to work independently and exhibit innovative problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated strategic planning, leadership, and accelerated operations improvement skills
    • Work collaboratively and interactively with diverse staff in a team environment and demonstrate collaborative ability to work effectively in partnership with multiple physician groups and associates

Innovative organization continues to be a strong leader in managed care nationwide and is growing once again in California. As the clinical leader for QI, you will drive all activity related to QI and and Credentialing.

• This will include process improvement for more efficient and streamlined workflow and all activities related to NCQA and/or HEDIS.
• You will have the responsibility for credentialing and re-credentialing of providers.
• The review and implementation of new technological tools and processes will be under your guidance as well as the responsibility to foster the team concept with internal and external constituencies.
• You will research and incorporate best practices into operations and present results of improvement efforts and ongoing performance measures and recommend actions plans to senior management

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • 2+ years of healthcare with new construction infection prevention experience
    • Must have CIC certification or obtain within 1 year of employment
    • Excellent communication skills. Critical thinker. HIPAA compliant.
